La realizacion de este blog, pensando en todos aquellos que les encanta la comida tipica hondureña, o simplemente con deseos de recordar y conocer las maravillas culinarias, y no solo de Honduras, sino de otros paises. ROMPOPO HONDUREÑO(EGGNOG HONDURAN)

ROMPOPO HONDUREÑO


1 taza de leche

1taza de azucar

1/4 taza de guaro

2 oz. canela en raja

5 yemas de huevo

3 raspadas de nuez-moscada

Colocar la leche, el azucar, canela y nuez-moscada

en una olla y hervir a fuego moderado por 10 minutos,

retirar la canela.

Mientras hierve esto, se están batiendo por aparte las yemas,

que deben quedar muy espesas y color limón.

La leche con los ingredientes debe estar a borbotones cuando se

le agrega las yemas poco a poco y se bate muy bien para que las

yemas no se cocinen. Al estar tibio se vuelve a poner al fuego sin

dejarlo hervir. Dejar enfriar y agregar el guaro, se sigue batiendo

y se embotella, se tapa muy bien y se pone a helar en el refrigerador.

Al rompopo nunca se le pone hielo.

Esta bebida es muy tipica, y se acostumbra mucho

para las fiesta de navidad y año nuevo.
 
 EGGNOG HONDURAN

 1 cup milk
 1 cup of sugar
1 / 4 cup of rum
 2 oz.  cinnamon slice
 5 egg yolks
 3-scraped walnut nutmeg

 Place milk, sugar, cinnamon and nut-meg
 in a pot and boil over medium heat for 10 minutes
 remove cinnamon.
 As it boils, beating  eggs yolk, beating smoothly
 that should be very thick and lemon colored.
 Milk ingredients should be bubbling when
 you add the yolks slowly and beat well for the
 yolks are not cooked. Being warm is relocated to the fire
let it boil. Cool and add liquor, is still beating
and bottled, they cover very well and gets to freezing in the refrigerator.
 To rompopo never puts ice.

 This drink is very typical, and usually much
 for Christmas and New Year.
